Settlers and scoring
Who settles forecasts, what they prove, and what they can never change.
There are no validators to trust. Anyone can call score(id, round) after a forecast's horizon, and the contract does the judging: it reads the named Chainlink round, checks it was current at the horizon, and writes the score or the void.
A settler cannot pick a better price (wrong rounds are refused), cannot settle early (the horizon must have passed), and cannot change a forecast. The only thing a settler can do is be first.
The site's server suggests the right round for any forecast at /api/onchain/hint, from the feed's history. It is only a suggestion; the contract checks it.
Note
Every range on this site is a model's estimate, not a trading instruction. A strong record so far says nothing certain about the next call.
